With the rise of Artificial Intelligence, the world took a revolutionary turn in technology. Everything got accessible, and working became more efficient. And with that, this great tool is solving many problems of humanity.

But nothing is as shiny as it seems. AI is still in the initial phases and prone to numerous risks to humanity. Be it physical or financial harm, no one is safe from the damaging effects!

Even the great scientist Stephen Hawking himself fears the life-ending risks of Artificial Intelligence.

So, it’s time to get real and discuss the dangers of Artificial Intelligence on human beings. Go through the list, and make yourself aware of all the troubles coming your way!

Invading Human Privacy

One of the most significant things in human life is privacy. And when something disrupts and threatens its security, it is time to look out.

The same is happening with us through AI.

All our personal information, including facial recognition, is now in someone else’s hands. Nothing is private or confidential anymore.

Let’s take the example of China’s upcoming Social Credit System. It grades the citizens on what they do in their daily lives. Whether smoking in a public area or spending time on valuable things, it tracks every single move.

Remember, AI has let them cross such humane levels. And with time, it will only get darker!

Hijacking Jobs

It is no wonder that AI will ultimately replace humans in most jobs. Robots will do all the physical work, and human labor will nearly end. Even in the report published by Mckinsey Global Institute, this automation might make almost 800 million people jobless by 2023.

These massive numbers will affect the individual economy to a great degree! Even though most opportunities will open up for the educated and rich, the lower class will get poorer. And this societal gap will only increase injustice and crime.

So, it is now time to look for a new setup where we can diminish the difference between two extremes and live a prosperous life!

AI Controlling Autonomous Weapons

With all other risks, controlling weapons is undeniably the most dangerous. Now we can see the use of AI in making killer robots; military robots that search for their target and aim it by themselves with the help of pre-installed programs.

Most first-world countries are going for these robots for their defense. And no doubt, in a few years, we’ll see more robots than humans in the Warfield.

With that, it will not be a surprise when these robots lose control and start killing innocent people. Destruction will be inevitable, and with heartless authorities on our heads, it’ll be almost impossible to end it.

The Bottom Line

With the advancement of technology, these threats will exponentially increase in the future. Things we predict will come true, and fighting them will be a lot harder.

So, it is on us to prepare ourselves and try make solutions right now!
